Experian decided to dip its metaphorical toe into the auto insurance space. I was involved in defining the content strategy that led CX to officially launch auto as a vertical, and scale the business through a robust CRM initiative and huge partnership expansion. Here is what that early work looked like—and the test results that gave D2C leadership the green light.

Experian's auto insurance program was so lucrative, the business decided to expand into auto refinancing. Eventually, vertical expansion into home and life insurance partnerships were quick follows.
