Working with the Understood team was simply an honor. As a nonprofit dedicated to providing resources to individuals with learning and thinking differences, as well as their loved ones, the company is full of kind, empathetic humans.

But also the work was a blast.

Understood.org focuses on education and free resource creation—particularly for parents and teachers. They initially brought me in to help craft emails and I ended up having the honor of rewriting their website and creating UX content for their app, Wunder, which was in development when I joined.​

What I'm most proud of: Understood is one of those rare teams where branding, content standards, positioning, and guardrails are all in place already. I'm most proud of adapting to them to help advance the organization's very noble mission.
